Editing

As well as being a cameraman I’m also a highly experienced Final Cut Pro video editor and expert user of After Effects. I have an edit suite based at my office, but also able to bring my MacBook Pro onsite for fast turnarounds. If you have your own edit suite, I can be dry hired to work on your system.

Every video needs to be edited together from simple single camera interviews to full-length feature films. So whether you’d like me to edit footage I’ve shot, or you need an extra video editor to help with your projects, I can help.

I understand all aspects of video editing from importing and optimising the media to exporting and encoding the finished video for delivery.

Speed

There is so much that goes into post-production, music choice, editing, graphics, and grading to name a few. So it’s important to keep track of time and ensure that you make the most of it enabling you to hit deadlines. Being a video editor is not only about the creative and technical skill, but equally the ability to be organised and excellent time management.
